Good morning! I'm off to face some of the shops today to get some pins and sequins ready to make a few more ornaments.
No, you may not take a photograph of my face:
I was watching the wallabies at Canberra's National Zoo and Aquarium for a while, and amongst the bigger ones was this little guy, not long out of his mother's pouch. Photo originally taken in full colour on general settings; swapping to black & white was the only editing I did.

Simple Pleasures
I'm late, I'm late, for the most important part of my daily routine -- the bit where I post up a photograph for all of you, of course! Sorry I never posted one for yesterday - I went out early, then went to bed early when I got home. Had intended to get up again and do some writing, but it didn't happen.
If I remember, I may post a second picture tonight to make up for it.
A cute little otter enjoying a king prawn:
When I did my ZooVentures tour at Canberra Zoo, one of the things I got to do was to feed the otters. We stood at the edge and threw them fish and prawns. I managed to zoom in and snatch this photo of him delightedly chowing down.

Dusk Giraffe
Throwing this one out there before I rush off to get ready for an appointment today.
Hummer the giraffe at Canberra National Zoo and Aquarium:
Anyone who knows me probably knows that I love giraffes. Imagine the excitement when I visited Canberra and had the pleasure of watching this gorgeous boy for ages. I even got to feed him - twice! It was pure magic. I took this shot on general settings, quite zoomed in (optical), as dusk fell.

Captured II
Welcome to From Another Angle! I've been meaning to get around to setting this up for a while now, so here it is. Here's hoping for one photograph every day!
Assuming I don't get a new camera, or borrow someone else's camera, all photographs on this blog will likely be taken using my trusty Kodak Z1012 IS.
A white lion waits for a snack at Canberra National Zoo & Aquarium:
This shot was taken during the ZooVenture tour, earlier this year. While they waited for the hand-feeding experience, the lion & lioness pair prowled up and down the fence.
